Midcentury Eclectic
Family Room
This 1950s classic bungalow underwent some extensive renovations over the years, but the basement was barely touched. As the kids got older, it became clear that the clients needed more space and privacy for their kids.
By keeping the original wood panelling, some parts of it were updated with white paint to brighten up the space and hide any scuff marks.
The old shag carpet was replaced with versatile carpet tiles that are easy to repair, especially with kids and dogs.
