Hidden Valley Ranch
Kitchen
Situated in the foothills of Alberta and just outside of the city bustle, this acreage went through a full overhaul to become a more functional home for its owners. The original main floor was very crowded and divided, not taking the full advantage of the vaulted ceilings and west facing living room windows overlooking miles of farmland with mountains as the backdrop.
Kitchen
Clients were very particular about having lots of warm woods in the home and have also brought some cherished pieces with them from the previous residence, one of them being a beautiful antique cabinet carved in wood with intricate wood and brass details, which set the tone for the rest of the wood finishes in the home.

Kitchen Hoodfan
Kitchen hoodfan structure was designed around the vaulted ceilings and desire to have a cozy, country home feeling, something that British design has mastered. It adds sophisticated simplicity to the kitchen and another dimension and neutral but textured plaster finish.
Hoodfan Details
Niches and ledge were created inside for the hoodfan structure to maximize the space and provide extra storage and interest.
